Our First Big Festival: Flea Fest 2025

Flea Fest 2025 was the moment everything shifted for Hippie Indian Soap Co. We went in as a small, homegrown soap company with four signature scents and a lot of heart, pouring and labeling bars late into the night just to prepare. When we arrived to set up, surrounded by huge, seasoned vendors, we weren’t sure what to expect. But before the doors even opened, people were already stopping by saying, “I’ve heard of y’all!” That alone felt like a victory.

Once the festival kicked off, the crowd hit us nonstop. People were smelling every bar, asking questions, laughing with us, and then coming back with family and friends to make them smell their favorites. We sold out of Cosmic Rain faster than we ever imagined, and Mystic Mint wasn’t far behind. Our booth was buzzing the entire weekend, and we met some of the kindest, funniest, and most supportive people, many who still shop with us today. Every “this smells amazing!” and every returning customer made the long nights and early mornings worth it.

By the end of the second day, our crates were nearly empty, our voices were gone, and our hearts were full. Flea Fest didn’t just give us sales. It gave us confidence, community, and the feeling that our little soap company truly belonged. It was the moment we realized Hippie Indian Soap Co. wasn’t just something we made… it was something people connected with. And that festival was only the beginning of what we’re building.
